    History
    : On February 25, 1964 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida world heavyweight champion Sonny Liston defended his title against undefeated Cassius Clay of Louisville. Liston was a heavy favorite, but Clay proved to be the superior boxer and stopped Liston in the 7th round.
