The Li-Ning Tectonic 9 is a new release developed with Tectonic Technology, designed for maximum repulsion.
The racket is produced from a special light weight T1100G carbon fiber that delivers incredible recovery time and strength. This high-modulus carbon fiber offers substantial performance improvements over other carbon fibers and can be found in aircraft structures and rocket launchers.
Incorporating a unique resin material enveloping the sweet spot of the racket, the racket head is designed to flex, thereby cupping the shuttlecock and launching it off in a catapult manner.
The newly developed frame constructed with Military Grade Carbon Fibre also sports Li-Ning's thinnest shaft to date at 6.6mm thin, equivalent to the Yonex 100ZZ shaft. The ultra thin shaft increases racket swing speed by reducing air resistance, and the solid carbon core adds extra rigidity and control to shots. In real world testing, the combination of the Tectonic Frame and ultra thin shaft makes the Tectonic 9 feel like a cross of the Duora Z-Strike and Astrox 88D pro.
